Juneau

Last weekend we got the chance to go to Juneau and meet with a few churches to share about our ministry with TWR. This was the first time I have been to Juneau (besides having a layover at the airport once).

It was fun to finally get to see the AK state capital as well as drive around and see the town that Tyler lived in for several years. We didn't have much time for sight seeing while there but did manage to drive around and see down town Juneau, the capital, the Governors Mansion, and Mendenhall Glacier (from the parking lot).

Monday morning before we flew out we had breakfast at a place called Southeast Waffle House. They had the best waffles such as Ham and Cheese, Cinnamon and Sugar, Chocolate chip, and a scrambled egg waffle. I liked them so much I decided to try to make some at home. So this morning we had Ham and cheese waffles....

They were delicious!! Now that I know you can add anything you want to your waffles before cooking them the possibilites are endless. There will be lots more fun waffle breakfasts at our house from now on.
